This is all I’m getting. Then it time locks for like 10 seconds. I think, if it uses an api call to reach out to steam, that it may be having an error with authenticating the permissions of that API call.

I see, please head on to your profile settings > make sure that you have linked your steam account > check your steam privacu settings make sure that it is set to public (uncheck the first box) so system can verify your playtime.
